Hi, Now here we present the 3rd Photoshop Tutorial. Requirements are same as last one. You will need Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or above (CS2 and CS3 are also fine) and very little experience of Photoshop. This PS tutorial will enable all my readers to make a Diamond Effect In Photoshop. So lets Start!
1) Open a new document 600 x 600 pixels. If your Text is more or large then select 800 x 600 or more. The default is 600 x 600. Select its background White.
2) With the Type tool (Hit T) write a word on your canvas. Use a big font size (maybe 200 pixels). Then right click on the layer palette and choose Rasterize layer.(or go to Layer > Rasterize >Type

3) Now make a selection around your text. Hold down CTRL and press your mouse pointer on the layer thumbnail. CTRL + Click on The Marked area to make selection of your text.

4) Now Press “D” to reset to default colors. Then go to Filter > Render > Clouds. Now wee will have something like this.

5) Now we have to create the diamond effect. This is very easy just go to Filter > Distort > Glass and use these settings:
6) Now let’s apply a layer effect. Go to Layer > Layer style > Stroke and use this settings:
7) Now let’s apply another style to our layer. Go to Layer > Layer style > Bevel and Emboss and use this settings:

9) Now let’s add some details .Change the background with a dark color.

10) Then select the brush tool and load the assorted brush set that comes with Photoshop. find the star brush.Create a new layer (press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N in the same time)
and with the brush tool click where you want on the text.

why did u change the dark backround setting at the end insted of using it at the beginning? cause of that mine came out wrong……….
